Grace Chapel Baptist exists by the power of God and for His ultimate glory. Our primary aim is to see the body of Christ increasingly conformed to the image of His Son through the faithful, clear proclamation of the Word of God. We believe that when the Bible is heralded in word and modeled in deed, the saints are truly equipped to live out their calling.
This commitment to Scripture fuels everything we do—from the reverent observation of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper to our vibrant biblical fellowship. Beyond our walls, we labor to serve our local community and partner with global missions, striving to strengthen the reach of the Gospel until the knowledge of God's glory fills the earth.
Beliefs
Our Theological Foundation
At Grace Chapel Baptist, the Scriptures are our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We believe that the risen Lord Jesus is the supreme Head of the church, and we find our identity in Him. As a community of His followers, we are committed to the order, worship, and discipline as He has appointed for the local church. To clearly define our convictions, Grace Chapel Baptist affirms the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, teaching and practicing in full accordance with its truths.
God and His Word
We believe in the one true God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is the holy Creator and Ruler of all things. He has revealed Himself perfectly through the Holy Scriptures, which serves as our final, inerrant authority for truth. We believe God’s glory is reflected in His creative design for humanity, having purposefully created us as male and female in His own image.
Salvation in Christ
Though man was created innocent, sin entered the world and separated us from God. Our only hope is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who shed His blood to provide eternal redemption. We believe salvation is a free gift of grace offered to all who repent of their sin and trust in Jesus as Lord. We look forward to His personal return, the restoration of all things, and the promise of eternal life for the redeemed.
The Church and the World
As a local body of baptized believers, we are united by a covenant of faith to worship God and observe the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We are committed to honoring God’s design for the family and marriage, while treating every person with the compassion and dignity Christ commands. Our privilege and duty is to make disciples, sharing the Gospel of grace locally and to the ends of the earth.
